Ready to Grow Your Practice?
For nearly a decade, ARC has been a respected practice dedicated to exceptional client care, known as one of Vancouver’s leading clinics specializing in anxiety and related concerns. We lead with integrity, warmth, and professionalism, with a team of grounded, heart-centred clinicians who believe in the power of therapeutic connection.
As our practice grows, we are seeking talented clinicians to grow with us. This is a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career within the supportive structure of an established private practice, offering a hybrid model that combines the convenience of online work with the connection of in-person sessions at our beautiful downtown office.
If you are looking for a professional home where you can focus on clinical work, grow your skills, and be part of a respectful team, we would love to hear from you.
What We Offer: A Practice That Invests in You
We believe that for therapists to do their best work, they need to feel supported, valued, and unburdened by business stress. Our practice is structured to provide you with the resources and environment you need to flourish.
- A Steady Stream of Clients: Say goodbye to the challenges of marketing and networking. We handle all client acquisition and referrals, allowing you to focus entirely on what you do best—providing exceptional therapy.
- Supported Independence: Enjoy the benefits of private practice with the robust support and infrastructure of an established clinic. While you manage your own client scheduling and invoicing, we provide the complete framework, systems, and ongoing guidance to make it seamless. Unlike solo practice, you don’t have to build it all yourself.
- Dedicated Clinical Mentorship & Support: You are never alone on your clinical journey. To ensure your success and growth, you will receive regular one-on-one mentorship with our Clinical Director. This dedicated time is for you to explore clinical questions, build confidence, and feel fully supported in your work.
- Comprehensive Privacy & Security Support: We take client confidentiality seriously. You’ll be fully supported with a secure operational framework, clear data policies, and step-by-step guidance on best practices, ensuring you can work safely and ethically from any device.
- Collaborative Growth & Learning: Connection and continuous learning are cornerstones of our practice. You’ll be invited to regular peer consultation groups to share challenges and gain diverse perspectives. We also host quarterly lunch-and-learns with experts in the field to foster your professional growth.
- A Beautiful & Professional Healing Space: Welcome your clients to our beautiful, newly-built office in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Designed for comfort and confidentiality, our space features professionally soundproofed therapy rooms, a calm waiting area, and thoughtful amenities including air conditioning and a complimentary coffee and tea station. Its prime location across from CF Pacific Centre with direct SkyTrain access makes it incredibly convenient for both you and your clients.
What You Bring: The Qualities of an ARC Clinician
We are looking for a clinician whose values, skills, and approach to therapy align with the heart of our practice. You are a great fit if you embody the following:
Your Therapeutic Stance & Skills
- A Balanced Approach: Your therapeutic style is both practical and relational. You are skilled at providing clients with tangible tools and strategies while also holding the space to explore deeper, core issues from a place of genuine connection.
- Clinical Depth: You have demonstrated skill and experience in providing psychotherapy to a diverse adult population. Specific experience and a particular interest in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma is highly valued. Advanced training or experience in areas such as couples counselling, OCD treatment, or specific trauma modalities (like EMDR) would be considered a strong asset.
- Warm & Engaging Presence: You bring a warm, empathetic, and collaborative presence to the therapeutic relationship, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to heal and grow.
- Commitment to Excellence: You have a deep commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and providing the highest standard of care in your work.
Your Professional Foundation & Practice Commitment
- Qualifications: You hold a Master’s degree in Counselling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and are registered and in good standing with the BCACC (RCC) or BCCSW (RSW). You carry active professional liability insurance and have excellent professional references.
- Caseload: You are motivated to build and maintain a consistent caseload, with a commitment to seeing a minimum of 15 clients per week, and the desire to grow to 25 (or more) if you wish.
- Availability: You have the availability to offer weekday evening appointments to meet client demand and can provide a combination of both in-person and virtual counselling sessions.
